The Mysterious Night
There were three girls called Elyshia, Grace and Jessica walking in Walton Hall Park on Halloween. They were all going to their gymnastics class. Their class started at 19:00 and finished at 20:00. After their gymnastics class they went for a walk in the park. It was very dark. They were walking past the tennis courts when they saw someone running in a black cape with a skeleton mask on. The person ran behind them but they didn’t know where he had gone. They thought he had disappeared but then they saw him run off. He ran so fast that no one could have caught him. Suddenly, they realised he had taken their bags with their mobile phones in so they couldn’t ring anyone. “Hey, that person has taken our bags!” yelled Elyshia. No one heard them. They couldn’t remember their way back but it was their only option as they didn’t know what was in front of them.
The girls darted to the Police Station trembling with fear. They told the Police what had happened and signed a statement. They were called back to the Police Station. “What’s happened?” they asked. The Police had found the person and arrested him. However, they had some news, it wasn’t actually a person dressed up for Halloween but a skeleton! They were shocked, they had a lucky escape. The girls got their bags back. Relieved, they danced back to Grace’s house to watch a horror movie. They loved the movie. It reminded them of the skeleton who took their bags.
The next day in school they had to tell the whole of their class what they did for Halloween. Jessica exclaimed “Elyshia, Grace and I went to our Gymnastics class late last night. After we had finished we went for a walk past the tennis courts in Walton Hall Park. We saw this person running with a black cape and a skeleton mask on. He ran behind us and took our bags with our stuff in.” Then the bell went everyone screamed “SAVED BY THE BELL!” At playtime everyone was following the three girls, they wanted to hear the rest of the story before everyone else did. The girls didn’t tell them as they wanted to tell them together in a group. They finished the story the next day. Everyone had been scared but they all enjoyed it.
After their day in school the girls decided to go on Best of Friends. They all thought they had a really strong friendship. It was the 2nd November. It was Grace’s birthday so they decided to have a sleepover. They told horror stories and watched DVD’s whilst eating popcorn and sweets. Afterwards they had a makeover and played lots of games. The next day they went to town by themselves they went to the new Primark and spent £12.00. “SWEET!” exclaimed Grace because Primark was really cheap.
They still had the rest of Grace’s birthday money left so they went to Eddie Rockets for something to eat. They all had an Oreo malted milkshake with their meal. Afterwards they went to Argos to get a pink iPod. They went home to Grace’s house. They went to Grace’s bedroom got changed into their pyjamas then watched High School Musical 2. They all fell asleep on Grace’s bed. They went to school the next day, it was Merit Assembly that morning. They were all pleased as they each got a certificate for great story telling. They also shared the Star Pupil certificate for their great friendship. The girls put their application forms in for Best of Friends. They all got through but that’s another story!
